As you enter our property down the long drive past the gatehouse, you begin to leave the outside world behind. The Fountaingrove Golf & Athletic Club is an escape from the everyday into a beautiful wine-country setting, with sweeping views and oak-studded rolling hills. The Athletic Club, the 5 hard courts, Har-tru clay court, and the pool are all openly spaced round beautiful lawns and landscaping, adding to the feeling of luxury. Head Tennis Pro Paul Shepherd is a true enthusiast for the sport and the club. Paul sets the tone for a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. His playful manner on and off the court ensures that our tennis members, both competitive and club players, also enjoy the many social activities he oversees.
We are dedicated to enriching the tennis experience of our members. Players of every level feel like they are part of a family here at Fountaingrove. Our staff will be happy to help you find new games with different people, or a last-minute partner, or we can organize a clinic with your friends. We offer lessons and clinics with our pro for players of any level, and we have a weekly schedule of social tennis based on your individual ability. In addition, we have a summer program offering kids a chance to spend a week with their friends in one of the full day or half-day junior tennis camps.

The social life here at Fountaingrove can keep you very busy. The mixers are a great tradition here at the club, where the pro pairs everyone up with different partners to play social tennis, followed up with food and drinks. Our goal is to have fun, and make sure all the members get to play with people outside their regular groups.
Remember your tennis membership also includes a social membership to the Country Club, where we host some of the finest social events around, such as Breakfast at Wimbledon, French Open Dinner, wine pairing dinners, and theme parties.
